What’s something you’re planning on doing in the next year that you’ve never done before?

With my recent move from Florida to Washington, I am planning to do some harder trails and maybe backpack soon! I currently do simple hikes now, but there are a few different trails that I am prepping for and have a goal to tackle soon. My top 2 are Mailbox Peak and Colchuck Lake. Both are around 8-9 miles, but the elevation gain is crazy, and something this Florida-born-and-raised girl isn’t used to. If I were to backpack, getting a permit to hike The Enchantments would be a dream!

What was your dream job when you were ten?

My dream job was to be a veterinarian! I am a big animal lover and have always grown up with some sort of animal in the house. I was convinced that I would be a vet until I learned that I would have to give people their animals back, and my younger self moved on to the next profession: owning an animal rescue farm.

What's something about you that most people don’t know about?

In high school, I was part of a choir that was fantastic. We were given opportunities to do lots of amazing things, the top one being able to sing inside the Notre Dame Cathedral in France. It’s my go-to fun fact so probably something some people know, but I am very proud and thankful I was able to do that!
